Oil would be 30 weight changed every 50 hours. You can use purolator oil filters instead of the over priced kawasaki filter. Let me know if you want the purolator oil filter part number.

Hydro system should be changed once each season.

Sure when my father gets back with the trailer I will run out and check the part number for the oil filter for you. The hydro filter im not sure about because each manufacturer uses there own filter. Your best bet would be to call your local Write dealer and give them your model and serial number and get the hydro filter from them.

Here you go. This oil here is VERY good synthetic oil for air cooled lawnmower engines. With this oil you should easily be able to go to 100 hours before you need to change the oil. There is enough oil in a gallon jug for 2 oil changes.

Edit the purolator pure one oil filter for your engine is PL14476. I recommend this filter for 3 reasons.

1. It filters better than most other filters on the market due to a better media used inside the filter
2. It flows very good for unobstructed oil flow through your engine
3. It is a high quality filter with an anti drainback valve

Purolator doesn't make oil. They only make filters. The Purolator Pure One filter is about as good as you can get. You should do a search.

How can you tell? All data available points to Fram as being about the worst filter you can buy.

All data available points to Fram as being about the worst filter you can buy.Well, My motor hasn't blown up for one, I don't remember seeing a cross reference # for Purolator filters for my Kawi. I found a Fram cross reference # and bought the Fram. Show me a filter # for Purolator that can fit my 19HP Kawi and I'll buy one to have on hand for my next oil change.

50 Hours for the engine oil and filter. Either HD30 or synthetic 10w30. Hydro system should be done once a season. Usually mobil ! synthetic 15w50 or dino 15w40 (Rotella).

I thought it was 100hrs for kawi?

Every 50hrs is for hot, very dusty conditions. But why not. Should be better for the engine.
