My stx38 is acting up. It will start and run fine cold but after about 20 minutes it dies. It will not start back up for a while after this happens. Does anyone have any ideas or no a good place to start looking for the problem.

next time it quits, check for spark immediatley. no spark = bad coil.

if you have spark, check for a plugged vent in the gas cap, trash in the tank, or a bad fuel shut off valve if so equipped.

right when it dies check the fuel cap, spin it off and listen for a hissing sound. it could be a vaccume in your fuel tank.
