I broke the blade bolt on my Stihl Edger Attachment. Theres none sticking out. I was going to drill a hole and use a bolt extractor, but its an edger blade so it is righty loosey, lefty tighty, so the extractor would need to be "reverse", right?

Am I going to have to just replace the whole bolt assembly?

do you not have a warranty for it

the warranty doesn't cover "operator error" ;)

I just talked to my dealer and he said they *do* have "reverse" bolt extractors so I guess I'll take it up there to them. Anybody know where I could buy a reverse extractor?

If the bolt is not in "real tight" the use of a regular drill bit might get it out, I have had times when with left hand drill bits where the the bolt came out as I was drilling. I know that SnapOn has a square evtractor that can be hammered in and turn out and I think Sears offers something along the same lines.
Good Luck
