I find it interesting how a bug can make holes so uniform and in line.

Anyways... anyone have any idea what this is from? I am not sure of the plant itself, It is a bulb, has orange flowers and the leaves kind of unravel. The customer said this happens every year and by the end they are almost to the point of chopping them down.

Variegated Cannas with Jap. beetle damage. Apply Merit or other contact/systemic insecticides. Would be better to apply in May prior to damage.

I figured it was Jap Beetles, that is what I told the customer, they are rampit right now. Basically I am in the same boat that I am with roses. Still looking for something to hold them back.
