How does my computer in my Chevy know what the tire pressure is? The only thing touching the wheel is the lug nuts. Also, its wrong. I rotated my tires this weekend and I run 60psi in the front and 80psi in the rear. Well I haven't adjusted the pressure yet and it still reads that way when I know that they are indeed swapped.

i believe there is a sensor inside the rim that wirelessly transmits the pressure to the computer

Yea, my gmc and my infiniti have the same thing. Its a blue thing inside the tire that sends it out.

In most cases the TP Sensors in the wheel have to be reprogrammed for the new position or they'll report the correct pressure that is in the tire but for the wrong wheel position
