tbc 230 shaft stripped and clutch drum stripped- lifetime warranty?

Aren't these parts lifetime warrantied? I just ordered the parts on Saturday, but will hold the order on Monday morning. I think these parts have a lifetime warranty. This trimmer is only 3 years old. I love tanaka, my 220 is 15 years old. I was suprised when this 230 quit so early. Can you help me with this potential warranty issue. Should I hold the parts? They were ordered from canns bilco in Penn. Thanks

Excellent customer service. You gotta love Tanaka. I am now using my 15+ year tbc 220 with countless trouble free hours, until I get my super light 230 back in business. Thanks guys, way to stand behind the product. I will continue to preach how good your products are.

Only ones I have seen this happen on are ones where the guard has been moved or removed allowing too much trimmer line to be run.

I have one here now that one of the clutch shoes actually melted....LOL
