Good Deal. I bet you were happy when you found out they had a 6k rebate. I'm hopefully going to get one this weekend too. They want to sell me a truck on the lot for 29, and with a 6k rebate i can get it for 23,000. Not bad for a truck with a 31k sticker price. BTW, you'll love the new gmc's. I know i do.

whats the 6k rebate about? i thought you have to give up that rebate if you want to finance it??

Yea, i assumed that he bought it out right. There is either a 5k or 6k rebate (i forget) or you can get 0% financing. Either way its a good deal.

The rebates and special financing only apply to 08 models. This was a leftover 2007 that they needed to get off the lot so they sold it to us at a loss. Being that it was over 1 year old it had to be sold as a used vehical even though it was still brand new. It had 86 miles on it when we took delivery. We did finance it and we got a great rate considering it had to be sold as used. It still has the full warranty but the banks consider it used for some reason if they are over 1 year old. How gay is that?

On an 08 you can choose between the rebate or the special financing of 0% for 72 months. If I am not mistaken this deal was over today. They told us in order to get the 0% GMAC requires a certain amount down and a very high credit score. We qualified for 0% if this truck had been an 08 but even at 0% the same truck would have cost more because they knocked so much off the cost of the one we purchased.

This dealership also had an 07 2500HD with the duramax and allison for $20,000 but it had the bed delete.

Here check it out. Its the first one on the list. The second one is the one we bought.

Bought a 2007.5 Chevy, Dura/Alli in 11/08. Z 71, LT, Reg cab long bed, MSRP $42,000, bought it for $34,200. Great trucks, hope you enjoy, only thing I don't care for is the regeneration (smog control).
