Is $4200 a good price for a used 2008 fastrak with a 44" deck and a honda GXV530 engine with 25hrs on it? This mower also comes with a 2 bag bagger.
I don't know much about the hustler line of mowers. Thanks for your help.

We haven't made a 44" FasTrak in a couple years, so it is not a 2008.
It sounds like you have a 44" with a 16hp Honda you are looking at.
This was a premium engine option on that model.
You are also getting a catcher....
25 hours is nothing for that unit, maybe a season of use.
$4,200.00 would be ok if this mower looks like new.

Could it possibly be a different model? Would it say a certain model on the mower itself, other than just FasTrak? The dealer who has it does not carry these new, so they don't know much about it. They are selling it as a 2008 though. One way or the other, it sounds like they have some of their info messed up.

If it is a 44" deck it cant be any newer than 2006.
If its a 48 by chance it could be a 2008, but you mention a 16hp Honda, and we don't offer that engine on our 07 or 08 48" deck FasTraks.
Could it be a 42"? if so it could be a Mini FasTrak with the 16hp engine, those we make and it could be a 08 unit.
Best bet is to get me the model and serial # and I can tell you exactly what you have.

That would be great. Thanks for all your help. I called the dealer with the mower and he said he didn't have the model # in his paper work but the serial # is 6041812. I hope this is enough to help me out. He also said I was correct, it is a 44" deck and a 16hp honda.

From the serial # you provided me, it is certainly a 2006 16/44 FasTrak.
A great unit.
It was originally sold to the original owner on 10/20/07.

Thanks for all your help. The dealer really had no clue what they had. Even if I don't end up buying it, at least the can now advertise it correctly.
