well, my hat's off to that guy. not that it's a good idea, but a molly is way down the line of "what i would think to use as a wire nut in a pinch".

at least he was thinking outside of the box.

I used to use TORO screens and squeeze that blue dri-splice gunk into it and push them over a dry splice in a pinch. Haven't done it in many a year but ran into one the other day and they have held up really well.

Ive squeezed silicone into wire nuts when wiring a trailer before. In a jam I may consider that.Greese packs are cheap and have a good mark up.
