Go drop some $$ and get an impact wrench. You can thank me later. :)

For the most part yes. Try putting some bolt anti sieze on the threads when you put your blades back on. Make sure you do not over tighten. Avoid hitting thing's when mowing, on most mowers this will tighten the blades as well. Finally start working out :)
Good luck

Mine came off in minutes. :D
Ingersoll Rand 2035 will take them right off. :weightlifter:

This is one good reason why I like to swap for fresh blades every single day,
keeps them bolts from getting but so tight, too.

Not always. When I bought my 72" Toro 325D, the left side discharge should have been a clear indicator. I couldn't get the blades loose, so I used my impact. Still nothing so I took it to a friend's shop and used his heavy duty impact...and broke off the bolt in the spindle. So to answer your question, a right side discharge should be lefty loosey to remove the blades.

If you haven't gotten an impact wrench yet, or haven't gotten that last blade off yet try using a 4 foot cheater pipe on that breaker bar.

This is what I used the first time I removed the blades on my mower.

Put a washer under the nut if it is the type with bolt going all the thru spindle and you won't have further problems getting them off.
