Hello, I have done a couple of straight walkways with a simple running bond pattern. I have a walkway coming up that has one very sharp curve (about 90 degrees) and the customer has asked for a herringbone pattern. Is this possible and what are the best patterns for curved walkways. Thanks

Herring bone is perfect for really sharp bends (I would go with a 45deg. pattern) because it is all cut, so the sharp curves won't make a difference. Running bond is typically the best way to go but if the bend is too sharp you will either end up with to large of gaps or having to cut all the pieces at the bend. You will end up using more brick with the herringbone but it will be the nicest in my opinion.

Herring bone will be perfect.

As well as the Parquet pattern.

Or, the "I pattern" if you use 6x9 and 6x6.
