Asphalt or concrete.:laugh: Netafim drip would be the prudent choice.

Have to agree with Leary, inline emitter tubing with a proper soil amendments can work well for this application. Had a similar install at a high end office complex, 24" wide turf strip approximately 200' long (in a circle) surrounded by hardscaping - property manager would not stand for any overspray on the hardscaping.

We used 4 lines of tubing spaced about 6" apart, turf looks good. Tubing was .9 GPH with emitter spacing of 12", have to be careful to stagger the emitters so you end up with a triangular pattern.

Back in the day, we'd have used W*M 2-foot-wide strip sprays, available in low-angle, for the discriminating consumer.
