I think I'm sold on the new model TL 230 (aka) TL 130.

Well built, fully loaded, lots of power, smooth controls, long wearing track system, great suspension seat, enclosed cab with heat & AC.

$ 42,000.00 ............ I applied for credit

I saw a trade-in unit there with 1753 hrs and has never had anything replaced on the bottom except tracks.......and the hours showed on the rest of the machine.

The cab was a bit larger than I really need (I'm 5-8 and 165#) so it seemed very large compared to the Bobcat.

They are purpose built tanks and last long, but they ride rougher and are a tad heavier, but an overall good choice!

The Taks are no Caddies but they get the job done.

I think sometimes we get caught up in the creature comforts of these machines ,but in fact the most important aspect of the machine is that it starts and gets the job done.

I was wrong about the aka TL 130. It is the new model TL130

I like the Takeuchi machines. Straight forward and the controls seem very precise for an untrained operator like me.

If you are going too buy new go with the TL230.
They made several upgrades that will be worthwhile.
They come standard with the wiring know too run attachments with multiple hyd actions.
They have the hyd quick attach.
They have the aux control on the joy stick now.


Taks do not have high flow though.

I started off wanting a TL130 but ended up with a 140.
The 130 will have a hard time unloading sod off of a truck.
