This job was in Seattle, Wa.

We designed and installed this 12'x15' irregular shape patio, two landings for stairs and step stones through the grass around the house to the front yard gate.

What do you guys think?
Oh, its dry set on 3" of 5/8- and 1" of 1/4"- crushed paver setting stone.

Before and after pictures.

Nice. That's a pretty typical flagstone patio for the NW.

Next time, though, get some larger pieces of flagstone. And try to get tighter joints. It will turn out even nicer.

I do a lot of flagstone and we use some stuff for the joints called gator dust, it works and looks great. Will handle up to a 4" joint.

I usually make the joints tighter, the customer wanted it that way, she said she was going to plant some ground cover and a couple types of moss.

I have more pictures of this project but they are to large, had to crop some down just to get them on here.

This is a quartzite flagstone it is a silver/gold and about 1 1/2" thick.

In the end they are the ones signing the check, they are the boss.
