Hey guys, I'm a fresh out of college accountant and im working for an accounting firm here in central florida and I am auditing a condominium association and I was surprised on the monthly amount for landscaping but i wanted to check with people that know this kind of thing to make sure it seems right.

Some of the description of the association include:
70 acre site
38 buildings
Lush Tropical Landscaping with Recreational Areas

Here is a layout of the area:

I am not sure what the monthly services entail because all the invoice says is "maintenance services" so im guessing the basic upkeep and making the place like great all the time.

Thanks in advance!

What are they being charged per month?? Nobody is going to give you a blind price on this.

I was just looking to see what range yall would think... like 5-10,000 or 40-50,000 just wanted to see what people that know this field would think.

Thanks anyways,

That place looks like a lot of work. Between all the trees, beds, edgings, prunings, mowing, beach/pond maintenence, fertilizing, weed control, ect.

Definitivly would be 150,000, to 200,000 a year. The more I look at the layout it could be 100,000 more. Not only is there a lot of details, a lot of it could be a pima, or pita, take your pick.

Thanks guys for the help!

If you guys are thinking between 150,000 - 200,000 then I guess it is not out of range, actually just about in the middle!

Thanks again!

Could be as high as 300-400k per year. that's 2 crews per week, 4-5 days a week. at over 100-1500 a day per crew...

approx 150k before material costs. double that typically. 300k.

we'll do it for 1% less:)

I hear ya. It's hard to quote a bid from a drawing. Florida has got to have a high cost of living too.
