When you program odd/even, does it give a true two week on/off?

Week one: mon. wed. fri.
Week two: sun. tue. thurs. sat.

Does the Smartypants clock do that?

I'm thinking if you set it to water on ODD numbered days that the controller would water on ODD numbered days, same goes for EVEN.

So, your scenerio would work

No, but maybe my scenario would. :hammerhead::hammerhead::hammerhead:

correct me if im wrong...but i think the way the smartline does it, is it will take the date and determine if its odd, or even

For instance, since today is July 16, it is an even day, and it will water if you have the clock set to even.

So technically it will do

The only exception is when you have 2 odd days next to each other (IE: 31st and the 1st)

Theres a good chance I did not answer your question...cause i too am having a hard time figuring out exactly what you mean

I've been married for thirty years and my wife says that a lot. I get your
drift, I just wanted to be sure as the WM always shows week one in the display. :wall

does the week change though? that would be the question.

i would think they accounted for that, but u never know.

you must first have an avatar, before you can request the dismissal of an avatar... young skywalker

The inventor of the product says... "31st never waters. Otherwise all odd/even is by calender."

tada

Who uses odd/even anyhow? Such a relic feature, which I guess is fitting.... for a relic.

This turned into the D.S. Smarta$$ thread, as usual.

When one uses a limited amount of groundwater into multiple cisterns,
you're working the re-charge vs. the application, hence multiple programs, run times & odd/even.
Any other questions?

Yea.....what is wrong with intervals and ZN:ZN delay, that is unless you using an Orbit controller or some other POS?

Yea.....what is wrong with intervals and ZN:ZN delay,

Using ZN:ZN delay now, clock is on a 24/7 four program operation.
I got sand base, & we got no moisture here: this is getting to be the time
of the year where we're dryer than Arizona. I will look at intervals. :)

I always use intervals if the controller has the option. Far easier to schedule and your not left with an odd day out.
