Hey guys im looking into getting a Hustler mower, i wanted one with a 48in deck for the sheer fact of getting into back yards. The only one i found is the fast track and the fast track super duty in residental grade. Will this mower hold up to the wear and tear of everyday mowing? I plan on only having 15 accounts next summer. Also what are your thoughts on this mower and what would you recommend if you dont like this mower.

i have the 42 mini z. you might want to look at something more that size. most back yard gates are not that big down here. but i love my hustler. just make sure your dealer is pretty close. also ask if he will supply you with a loaner if yours is in the shop. just check out your dealer and make sure that he will be good for you and your business.

I will also be looking for a smaller commercial unit. I read in TURF that snapper has a 48" rider starting at $4,500.00. Im sure the only downside will be engine power, because the engine options are Kolher, Kaw., and Briggs Vanguard.

Bobcat, Exmark and Toro all have smaller compact commercial duty units. Dealer support is a big thing though. The Scag tiger cub is another unit that comes to mind. Go to your local dealers, see who has what and demo the different machines. Whichever seems to be all around better answers your question!

The Hustler Super Duty is a great mower! It will hold up EASILY to 15 yards.

If you are solo, take care of your stuff and maintain it to specs, it is not so important of have the biggest, heavy duty equipment.
