Like the thread title says, I am thanking the Lord for the lightning.
We had 2 major thunderstorms roll through here last weekend, which is known as Blue Angel Weekend. The Navy Blue Angel flight team is summer-based here at NAS Pensacola, and flies a big show the weekend after the 4th every year.
Saturday's storm was so bad the performance was canceled, 4 people were hit by lightning, 7 others required ER care. Sunday they managed to get the show in before the bottom fell out, but 6 more people went to the ER including a guy who went into cardiac arrest.
My point? Yesterday got a call from a cemetary that we do controls service for - they lost everything EXCEPT the 2 spanking-new ICC's we put in last spring. 33 zones, (2) 7-1/2HP sub pumps and their mag starters, a Hunter PSRB and both rain/freeze sensors, miles of wire that tests out as faulted...
Next week should be a very profitable one. If it doesn't storm...
