I regret doing this but no thread should go unanswered. I googled your request and got this. You take it from here.

Why not look for a 'equivalents' page, like the data card that used to come with Hunter rotors? 640's are a standard, so there have to be comparison pages.

Fair question. Folks usually know the performance of products they will use, and don't have to roam the internet for specs.

I am in the process of bidding a non spec ball field and have not messed with sports field besides service in the last 12yrs! It just seems to me that the 640valve in head is still the most easy to install service and maintain. I have looked over the specs of the other sports turf rotors and if memory serves me right the 640 is still the king. (alright i am ready for the bashing to begin )

You could probably use Hunter I-40 heads in ballfields, and also refer to their layout data, even if you'll stick with 640s

You would be using hydraulic controls?

I don't know exactly what i am planing  I don't think the controls are available beside the conversion boards

That's why I'm asking, since the 640 VIH are hydraulic normally-open. Most ballfield designs today would have zone valves and ordinary heads.

To me the 640 no vih still makes sense

The 640 is great head , its almost bullet proof.
