I decided to try my hand at some black and white pics. I think they came out decent. Got the dual exhaust finished on the truck and my cb antennas put on. Yes there is a cb too, Cobra 148 GTL.

what kind of exhaust did you go with? I have the 6.0 as well. MY exhaust guy is trying to get me to go with straight pipes off the cat.

I see you have the 2001 model chevy, but you have the newer tail lights.. Are they direct fit?

Thanks alot guys:waving: The truck is a 2000 model 2500. The plow is a Meyer EZ classic, though I wish it was a Boss. The exhaust is a mix of stuff from Summit that I made fit. Nothing on it is flowmaster at all. But it is true duals though. I dont think I need USDOT numbers here. Havent seen another truck with them. The tail lights are basically direct fit, except the 03 newer trucks have 4 lights instead of 3. I paid 40 bucks for those lights too, from an 05 HD

Hey Syd- If you pull your 16 ft. trailer with that truck, you do need them.

Check this out- http://www.statepatrol.ohio.gov/operationalunits/lcs/TDGB2007.pdf

See page 4, Vehicle Identification. You're over 10,000# combined. Not trying to be a pain in the ass, just helping you avoid a large fine!!

***EDIT! actually, you may be correct. If you only operate within your State and you are a private carrier (NOT for hire) I don't think you need them.

Then i should be having them too, nobody around here has them so i don't know. Thats what i was thinking(the edit) but woundn't you have to have not for hire on the side of the truck then?

I noticed your tow hitch is upside down...I do that to.

I keep the hitch upside down to put the back of the trailer down, makes it easier to load and unloed mowers. Totally unsure about the DOT number, but will look into it
