Yes because the emmission rules are getting way too strict to meet.

that going to be a sad for some truckers out there
but there always cummins i guess
I never really got to experience a cat before in a semi truck only cummins and Detroit diesel

i thought i just read cat inked a deal with international to put their motors in them..

Yup, starting in 2010. Can't wait to see what rolls of the line. Detroit and Cummins must be smiling about this.

There was something in one of the trade magazines, didn't read all of it yet. Surprised that Cat would give up this segment of the business, sure see alot of trucks with Cat power out there.

cat says less then 10% of its engines go to on highway truck.
