Ok I received a call this weekend from someone wanting some work done on the pond. I go out there to look at it and she has some other stuff needing done as well. She has a pool with the border being pebbles or some kind of "flat rock" is what she referred to it as to not hurt her feet while she walks around to maintenance the pool. The area for that is 245 sq feet. Then the pond it is approximately 60 linear feet, and approximately 12 feet wide so 720 sq feet. She is wanting a permanent fix to prevent weeds without using anything to harm the fish. Will landscape fabric work and is there a chemical for weeds to not harm pond life?

Any good suggestions of rock or chemical or anything?
I need some help or should I pass it on to someone else?
