Well took about 5 weeks and they are back. Good as new and only $120 each.
Local supply house sent em out and billed my account.

Fastest thread theft ever here but I know you are a Pro C man. I renov. a system using my RM remote and never ran the system with the timer. Customer calls me back cuz zones 7,8,9 not firing. After some troubleshooting determine module issue. Dated 01. I'm going to exchange but any thoughts? Can't say that it was bad from the beginning because I never used the controller to run the system so I'm eating this one.

Shut power swith ( swith that holds modules in place ) pull module , reinstall same one , push swith back to power on , will probably work. If not swith mod with 456 mod , if that works mod was junk.

Pulled mod and used 456. They worked fine. Pulled mod and reinserted no luck. Did not shut power down but at this point I'll just replace with new mod. Do you think it was junk from day 1 or have you had mods go bad down the road?

Ive had 2 go bad from day 1 , never saw one go bad after being used for a while. Probably installed 1000 or so.

Keep in mind if common MV and 123 factory installed mod is grey you can use a grey or black mod. If factory is black you can only use black mods.

Another sidetrack. My headphones are not acting right. So what are you using for a replacement? I bought some cheap headpones at wal mart, I only get sound in 1 ear. Any ideas.

You need mono headphones. Or look for an adapter. Or get out the soldering iron and join the two channels.
