Ive bought a new domain name LawnSite.com. Don't worry, everything will remain the same and hallofforums.com will point to the new name. <p>I just thought LawnSite.com is a much better name for the site. Easier to remember, etc...<p>This will go into effect in a couple of weeks. I will keep you updated.

This brings back some old memories. I was thinking that Lawnsite.come started December 21, 1999, but I guess that is when this new vBulletin Software started and about Feb. 1, 2000 is when the domain name changed to Lawnsite.com. I'm glad you found this thread Ray, it has gotten what's left of my mind straightened out. ;)

I now remember chatting with Chuck Keough on AOL AIM Chat in January and him telling me that he had just gotten the domain name Lawnsite.com and asking me what I thought of it. At this same time we discussed how fast the membership was growing. His goal was to have 1000 members by the end of the year, we ended up getting 2000. :)

I think we need a page on here just for the History of Lawnsite.com, but then again, maybe I just wrote it.

Look at the date of Chucks Post. This was written January 15, 2000 when he announced the Domain Name Change, which was Hallofforums.com. This thread was started 14 1/2 months ago.
