Well I'm back from my Bigfork, Montana vacation. Hopefully I am a little recharged because my attitude has gone to heck lately. I still had to do some calls and scheduling, but it was still relaxing. River float trip, fishing, Glacier Park, grilling, eating, drinking, sleeping in (until 7:00 :)), letting the dogs swim in the river, and just relaxing with the family. I will post some pics later. I really needed this. My boiling point with customers, and to some point my employees, was very low. Back to the old grind though.....

Next up, maybe Boise over Labor Day!

Thinking of going to 4 day weeks for aug.

We're doing 4 10's already - the heat is hot!

Already had our summer vacation - stayed home to catch up on stuff around here.

Fall vacation is Chattanooga or Nashville, sometime in October.

OH! And welcome back, Dana, glad to hear you enjoyed the respite.

Yup, sure did. Second time I've been to Glacier. Lots of snow at the top this time as opposed to two years ago. Only saw two dear and one mountain goat. Still in search of the elusive bear...... I did see one up there about 6 years ago. Drove up for my brother's wedding, stopped along the rode through the Swan River Valley to use a tree :), and about 50 yards down from me a bear is crossing the road. Brother saw a grizzly on the way to work coupla weeks ago.

OK here are a few. Will do more but I'm making fajitas right now

Not sure how to title each one, so..
#1 me and bro fishing the Swan River
#2 me trying to fish :)
#3 me passed out (finally relaxing)
#4 woke up to mooing every morning on the ranch
Slept in the in-laws 5th wheel, and the cows would wake me up. Not a problem actually

A few more until later

#1,2, & 4 are at Glacier National Park.
#3 - one of the 30 or so deer we would see each evening on the ranch
Had my brother's spotting scope and we'd just sit back with a beer and watch them all come out. I could here and see a few around the camper late at night too. Don't they look delicious?

Glacier is nice, but I'm used to these mountains in my own area. Rocky Mtn. National is pretty sweet too. The floating/paddling trip isn't in Glacier though. Swan river near Bigfork MT where the bro lives.

Problem with the national parks like that is there are a ton of "tourists". and buses full of people, and a lot of people that have never been in that kind of setting and they don't know how to respect the wilderness.

No,' cause I started out in a podunk studio where I could fool around.
The shakes came when I sat down in Studio A at RCA Hollywood facing
Henry Mancini and a full orchestra. :dizzy:

Thanks for that....

I may be going back up there. I found a good little 2002 Ford Ranger 2WD that my sis-in-law is looking at today. She is also a great negotiator from what my brother tells me. :) I'm not. I hate beating someone down on price (cough John cough)
