View Full Version : $1500 commercial w/b - Where?

I appreciate yesterday's input and advice that I received from my post. Several of you mentioned a $1500 w/b commercial grade mower and I'm starting to really think about this. One last question: Where and who sells this $1500 commercial w/b mower? It seems like all the ones that I've found start at $2000.

Once again, thanks

I would stay away from any new "commercial" grade wb that sells for less than $2000. You get what you pay for,and you won't get much for under $2000 unless a dealer is maybe selling a demo unit. Stick with the major namebrands to avoid future headaches.:)

Watch your paper,

People are selling used ones all the time.

You should be able to find one for $1500 or less that will still have plenty of life.

A used name brand unit would be cheaper to own.

Parts availability, reliability and re-sale value all need to be considered as an ownership cost, not cut the up front downpayment.

I bought a used Exmark 48" 5 years ago for $1200.. Its the best mower out of the fleet, and still makes the nicest lines that I have ever seen. Being used 8-10 hours a day every mowing day for the past 5 years, I have only had to put a transmission onto it. There is hope with some used equipment.. but Im sure being an exmark helped!!
