Ok guys. I have had some troubles lately with my truck but I think im finally getting it running right. I noticed the other night that i dont have all of the lights behind my steering wheel. All the radio lights work fine but where the speedometer is not all working.
I have lights on half of my fuel gauge and on my speedomerter up to 80mph. My tach and cooling lights and such are out. Any suggestions?

look around the upper and lower parts of the dash panel face. they usually have some recessed screws holding the faceplate on.

I've had to deal with this before but I'm having trouble remembering the Ford switch. I think the back of the knob where the shaft pushes into it has a small tab that needs to be compressesd as you pull the knob off. Some switches have a push button on them (behind the dash) that allows you to pull the entire knob and shaft out of the switch but I don't think thats the case with the 97 ford.

replace with led it will be best plus more bright so you can see easy plus you would never need replace led again.
For me I have this problem I just smash on dashboard and light come on. It been work when I smash on it. I say it will stop work when drive on bad road or not use for long time. It been for several years it still work when smash on it.
