Reminds me of a prairie grain silo that was toppled by a large dozer!

Pic #2 would make a very nice back ground for business cards!

I know it's probably to late, but I'm sure you could find someone who would come and salvage that tin and barn lumber. Around here there are folks that would give their right arm....possibly more.

out of my own curiousness, why is the barn being torn down? I could understand the house, but the barn looks to be in decent shape. New development?

did you walk threw the barn and see if there were any old tools or any thing like that? did you do the same thing to the house?

Salavaged the breaker box and some wire and the copper pipes,as far as the barn goes that is the side that looks good the other side is blowed out from the high winds this spring.

Farmer is grain farmer and doesn't have livestock,so doesn't need barn, but i'm suppose to level off a new site for machine shed for his high dollar new combine and tractors !!!!!!

The poles in the barn are routed off and the lumber is a lot of the old native lumber which no one wants, because it is hard to work with.

People say they want this and that ,but never showup to tear it down, and times is money and way the year has been with the weather,i make more running my machine ,not tearing done houses for a living.

Well guess i am making my living tearing down this house:).

Farmer wants to get going on building his new building before winter gets here.Hurry up! get it done.Everyone is behind because of the bad weather here this year,so no one is very patient, not even me ..............:usflag:

Constructo....haven't heard from you much, thought you fell asleep watching Dr. Phil and Oprah or became Rip-van-winkle who slept for many years under a nice shade tree. Before you demo that house, there's a few folks I would like to watch the demo from the inside of the house, I just bought them one way tickets.......

I don't think patient and construction can be used in the same sentence... It seems like everything anymore has to be done yesterday.

That demo looks like fun. I love working in wide open areas with nothing to worry about hitting, or in your case you GET to hit something!:weightlifter: Your 6 will make short work of that ol' shed.:usflag:

Had to fill a well, fill the old water storage system, remove the lime stome basement walls and backfill that.Had to work around the rural water pit and shutoff.

Buried power line going to other machine shed, but at least there is room to work, altho it was crowded today with the mini,CTL and me with the dozer all working on the building site this afternoon.

Tomorrow there will be CTL,dumptruck, dozer, tractor and scraper running if things goes right.I said if .Right!:usflag:

Are those asbestos sidewall shingles on that house ?

That's the first thing I noticed, 99% sure it is but i could be wrong. I know they would have my azz around here if I knocked down a wall without having all the asbestos removed prior.

First off farmer got a county permit to burn it on the spot, but because of the power line and the electric company not wanting to move the line i had to move the house to where the fire department came and burnt it.

So if there was a problem they wouldn't have giving the permit, but i'm sure it couldn't have been the 1% thing right!!!!!!!! Or was that wrong:confused::usflag:
