Shindy's are great. Or redmax. The 2601 weighs 11 pounds trimming head and gaurd on.

the ranger works great. its a 6 cylinder and i only have a 50''X8' trailer and it pulls it fine. it also pulls our 18' boat no problem

take that deflector off you trimmer. It will lighten it a bunch and balance the trimmer better.

Thats a nice setup, looks perfect for around town. What kind of mileage you getting while pulling the trailer around town?

STIHL GUY

the trailer doesnt affect the mileage too much and i have a pretty tight route too

I have the same hedge trimmer. It is a great machine. Light but has alot of power. Is yours the 24" or 30"?

Was wonering more info of the Giant VAC , Price and how well does it work blew a yard today was full of leafs and i was thinking man theres got to be a better way then just to blow a big pile of leaves from one side of the yard to the other side lol..

My trimmer is the double sided 24''.

As for the giant vac it works great and can move tons of leaves fast. my dad bought it before i was born so i dont know how much it costs but it is deffinitly well worth it

How does the ranger handle the leaves? We us my buddies silverado 1500 and we had the box loaded with shredded leaves, it seemed like it was sagging a little bit w/ the extra tongue weight of the trailer. Doesn't the ranger sag or do you have air bags?

STIHL GUY

we just put the box on today so i havnt tried it out yet but the truck doesnt even move when i hook up the trailer

If your truck's stock suspension doesn't handle the weight too good, you can get load handlers that will boost the weight the suspension can handle. I did that to one of my F150's. It was relatively cheap and worked well. I bought them from and had them installed by my trailer dealer.

filled the truck to the top with wet chopped up and packed leaves. It sagged a bit but for the most part did pretty well for the size of the truck
