Do pc,s have batteries? My clock on my pc is always running slow. Almost like it shuts down when pc is sleeping.

Yes (CMOS battery), but it is unlikely the battery, those rarely ever run out of juice. I have batteries in mobo's that have been going for 10 years.

Try overclocking your processor. (j/k unless you know what you are doing).

I use this to adjust manually since mine runs fast, which I suspect is due to my overclock.

If you have Windows XP, double-click your time and choose Internet time and set that to a time server. Then even though your time will drift, it will reset it periodically. You can also google for 'windows ntp'
