48" Bobcat Mower HELP TRANSMISSION

How do you take the transmission off of it.
It is bad i think. he hesitates like crazy. its not the belts they are tight. when it goes in gears 2 3 5 it hesitates and stops and goes alot in gears 1 4 it will not go at all and you can hear the gears doing stuff trying to go.

Sounds like the fingers are wore out. Don't shift on the fly. Always pull up the levers so there is no tension on the belt before you shift. As for taking it off, loosen the idler pulley, the belt will comw off. take off the wheel belts, unbolt the 2 bolts on each axle bearings, axles will slide out of the couplers. Remove the clip and or allen screw holding the pulley on the bottom of the trans, take the pulley off. there will be 4 bolts holding trans to mower. Reverse process to install. Oh, i forgot to tell you to unbolt the gear selecter from the trans. Good luck
