Hey guys and gals,
I have an older simplicity with an electric clutch to engage the deck. Do you think it is ok to powerwash the engine and the electric pto? I know you should stay away from putting direct pressure on sensitive areas, but I can't stand to see an oil covered, dirt covered engine.
The electric clutch had oil and dirt that had leaked from the engine above so I pressure washed it and sprayed WD-40 on it to dispell the water. Then I used compressed air to get the WD 40 out.
Good idea or bad???????
Can these be dissassembled and cleaned?
Sometimes I outsmart myself.
Thanks for your help
