Ok I will post pics later but I have a job its about 300 feet long by 7 feet wide.
It is on a small slope running into a creek. Is there anything to spray its weeds, tree stumps, all kinds of wonderful problems. Is this going to be manual labor or chemical labor? What would someone generally charge for this? Also hauling it all away

better check with the state and town before you do anything, any time your dealing with a water way or close to a water way, even as small as a creek there are requirements as to what you can change, how you do it and the chemicals you can use, i know in alot of places you can not use any chemicals with in so many feet af a water way

I guess it depends on how overgrown it really is. I once cleared some creek banks that where overgrown on both sides, with alders and saw briars. I simply ran a piece of cable down the middle of the creek and then cut everything down with a chainsaw. I then looped the cable back over the brush and hooked it to my truck. As I pulled the truck foward, the cable choked tight around the fallen brush and simply pulled it into a pile along the creekbank, which I then burned. I had some loose stuff fall back into the creek, but it wasnt to much to wade the creek and throw out by hand.

EPA says a 25ft riparian buffer should be maintained between any clearing and the nearest creek bank, but as long as sufficient vegitation is maintained, you shouldnt have any problems with the feds, unless you are also going to be doing dirt moving or gradeing above the creek, then you get into a whole new set of rules and regulations. I suspect this isnt the case and you are only wanting to clear a little brush.
