I recently purchased a used Encore walk behind. I need a grass catcher for it and doing internet searches I am only finding metal ones. Are there fabric catchers available for this mower? Can someone give me a recommendation on which one to use? I'm new to the forum and have been finding it very helpful. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I use the GrassPacker. It is virtually indestructable. It's a poly catcher that is easily the easiest to use catcher in the business.

That looks pretty cool. Thanks for your reply. Do you remember about what you had to spend for it? The website doesn't mention a price. Thanks again.

Ranger, you only think that you want a cloth side bagger. I tried the eXmark cloth mesh catcher hoping to stay cleaner and get rid of the breathing mask, but got much dirtier than when using my Accelerator -- plus the cloth unit is harder to get on and off the deck, and is harder to empty.

imho Accelerator cannot be beat for design and performance, and it bags grass good in the rain -- although you have to wash it when done, and maybe during day in thick grass. Plus it is lightweight. I bought two and consider it money well spent.

Any side bagger that performs well on a commercial deck is going to have a lot of air flow thru the bagger, and therefore get you dirty. But even my Billy Goat vac cloth bag gets me dirty.

Trac Vac makes a unit that bags into a 44 gallon Rubbermaid trash can that sits atop the pulley guard above the wb deck and uses a small auxiliary motor (5 hp) and rotor for the uptake. I have no idea how well it works but think it must be pretty good on flat ground.
