Fence gates

Has anyone have to hire someone to widen a fence gate for them in order to
get their mower in a backyard? What would this cost? Anyone do it themselves?

I've done it a couple of times. When I quoted a customer I gave a price with their existing set up and a cheaper price for a wider gate. Both times I replaced the gates and had them pay for materials. Well worth it for everyone.

I've widened a few. Dif in cost will save the customer $ in the long run

same here its easy on wooden fences to put hinges and a latch on a 5-6ft section and the materials are about $10

I've done chain links, but it isn't too hard either. Just have to move a post.
