Acre seed rates?

I want to put down 100lbs of grass seed per acre. (City Overseed Project)

After bidding all day in the heat I am just about brain dead. So @ 100lbs per acre,(43560 SF) what is my seed rate per 1000 SF?

100/43.56=2.295lbs see per 1000sqft. Are you using fescue seed? If so thats 200,000 seeds per lb X2.29= 458,000seeds per 1000sqft
458,000/144,000 sq in = 3.18 seeds per sqin. Now figue out your pure live seed according to the tag on the bag and you will know how much good seed you are actually applying.
