Initial pic looks like 10-12 days of growth down here right now. One month with no cut and you would not see the flower beds here. Your Ferris did a good job.

I hate to co-opt your thread. . .
But that lawn barely qualifies for purgatory. This is grass from HELL. . .

Did you bag the grass or was that a double/triple cut?

My Scag would have knocked that lawn OUT. It would also have beautiful stripes to boot! :D
Same goes for the pic Jameson posted. :waving:

Having cut both Northern and Southern grasses I can tell you that that much Northern grass can be a handfull. It looks to be extremely wet and juicy. But... Down here that sidewalk would have disappeared in the space of a month. The edging looks like it should have been pretty easy.

First thing I noticed was the edging job. Makes such a difference.

Ha! Now that's funny. . .
That lawn is part of a "big picture" landscape renovation/restoration. Including the above "lawn", the orchard and front "lawns" - each in an equal state of disrepair - we're looking at a ~$1700.00 mow/trim job, sans dump fees.

There's a chemical applicator here that's such an idiot he makes his lawns grow like that every friggin' week!

Jameson, that deserves a bush hog. How many bales of hay did you get out of that field. I would have charged out the ying yang for that.

Down here too. Bad part is, our grasses also go right thru asphalt.

double/triple cut most of it. No bagging or raking. Ferris is awesome.
