I need help as I a am a Twp Trustee and we have a 22 acre cemetary full of pine trees. I would say that there are probably about 200 trees in there so that tell you how many pine cones we are dealing with.

Our Sexton spends a ton of time RAKING up pine cones in piles, picking them up and dumping them into a backhoe bucket.

Is there anything (such as a vaccum) that would eliminate the raking?

I was wondering if one of the BillyGoad units of something like that would work.

Do you think a powered vac would work (like the ones that attach to a mower)?

If any of you know what I would need and something that would last a while please let me know.

Thanks,
RC

Our equipment picks up pine cones with ease but for 22 acres our equipment may be too small. The best thing I would recommend that we make would be to use our 13 to 18 hp Force units to centralize the debris then pick it up with our DL2500S. That is unless you've got large headstones that limit air movement and make it to where you cant drive over them. Then you'll need pedestrian vacuums with a central dumping location. As you well know the larger the headstones the higher the man hours needed.

Please let me know if you have nay other questions or problems I can help you with.
