Lots of prep work for paint ahead of me and im waiting on my jasper jig from pe to get the front on. I found a Harmon Kardon avr 247 for pretty cheap prolly gonna use that. Anyways pics:

I forgot the boxes for the mids. This is a big mistake. But i feel a have a good plan for resolving this hopefully my plan works. It might be a little bigger then the enclosure they suggest but i guess i can always put some fill in it. Plus i found a better use for the box anyways:

Lots and lots of sanding to do...
http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r178/baseballer2030/IMG_1068.jpg
SO MUCH BONDOOOOOO
http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r178/baseballer2030/IMG_1071.jpg
After Bondoing the hell out of the speakers I sanded them like there was not tomorrow...
Anyways Sanded:

http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r178/baseballer2030/IMG_1074.jpg
I then decided I didn't really want a huge roundover so I just used a 3/8ths roundover on the front and back. The design doesn't call for this but I did so I did it.

The speakers were then ready for primer. I happen to have a spray booth so I used a shellac based primer and sprayed it out of my hvlp gun.

Hey pretty cool, my brother and I build box's too, but they are mostly for cars. He gets pretty crazy with different port sizing and how to tune a box. Its a lot of fun.

Looks like you had a lot of sanding on that primer to make that mdf look good with paint. I used to work in a sign shop and we made letters outta mdf it took a whole lot of priming and sanding to get a decent finish.

Yeah up until this project that was all i built was boxes for cars. Actually the sanding with the primer was easy. It was the sanding that led up to the primer that sucked with all that bondo i slapped on there.
