I am wondering how many in my zone (6b-7a) generally fertilize non-irrigated lawns during the summer. Many of my lawns go fairly dormant during this time of the year and I am thinking about not fertilizing them. Anybody skip the summer treatments for these lawns? Any other input would be appreciated...

I no longer do. The company I used to work for still does.

On irrigated lawns I used to (and sometimes still do) apply a 1:0:1 or as close as possible, high slow-release, greens grade or fairway grade, SOP at a very low rate.

The rest, non-irrigated, are now getting chelated iron and biostimulant.

We use 39-0-0 100%scu on our R-3 application.

Doesn't rain, it lays there until it rains or if it does rain, we get a slow feed.
With a large customer base everybody can't be first. The slow N green them up until we get there with early fall applications. IMO
