Berrymen Chem-Dip is the last stuff I used. I usually just get whatever they have. Nasty stuff, but works well.

Any good acetone based solvent should do - I've also used Brake Cleaner, WD 40, Kerosene, starting fluid, penetrating fluid.

We use starting fluid to clean around the carb before removing and then use mineral spirits for soaking. Also have used Gumout Carb cleaner although have been advised not to let it soak more than 30 minutes.
