I thought I'd start a new thread for those who are interested in doing some reading about how soil microbes work. I'm not going to say much, mostly I'll just post some websites for those who can't find the information elsewhere. The following websites about Mycorrhizae and phosphorus took less than five minutes to find.

This is science folks.

OK, I see 20 hits so far, good!
Hopefully some of you are reading some of the websites listed.
Rather than bury you with boring reading I'll post some less scientific writings.

Here's one from the University of Idaho regarding soil microbes.

OK, I'll stop now.

I see lot's of hits here. Give me some feed back, should I post some more sites? Have you found some sites you would like to share?

This one is about the importance of microbes and disease suppression, it's boring as most scientific papers are.
But it is important to note that conditions must be right for these organisms to survive. We should be striving to help them rather than damaging them & creating more problems for us to deal with.
