Thanks Grate info on on those sites. Off topic a little, would getting the state master gardener certification help especially in advertising?

It woudl not hurt by any means. I have a BS in Horticulture and I used it to my advantage on many occasion while I was in orlando. And since you are moving from OH to a really different climate, the knowledge gained by becoming a master gardener, just on the local plants knowlegde would be worth the time.

Where in FL are looking to move to?

The Lakeland Plant city area. Nice and centralized can grow into Tampa and Orlando.

tampa/orlando. to far of a drive. I'd y focus on the winter garden/lake wales area. lost of older folks with disposable income.

When I lived in south orlando, I did work for my grand mother at the lake wales golf and country club. 45 minutes of drive time was killer.

I have found a book that is VERY helpful.

Florida Gardener's Guide by: Tom MacCubbin & Georgia B. Tasker

You can get it at Lowes for $23.00.

Hope it helps.
