View Full Version : Pricing Structures?

Does anyone have a pricing structure for the base rate to show up at a site to fertilize. What I mean is 0-5k rate for labor $46.25, 6-11 53.23 and on? Or where do you feel the labor rate should jump based on time on lawn. I am working on a new way to price out lawns. With the way things are we need to be tight on our pricing. Tim

Well how we do it is pretty simple. I buy enough material for the whole year plus 10% for new business. I know what my costs are so I price it like this. I charge a $35 dollar service fee for any property from an area that is the size of a floor mat to a 10 acre lawn. Then what I do is base all my apps off of what my highest costing app is. This year it was Liquid fert plus dimension and broadleaf control. For me it was $1.46 so I would charge $3.00 per 1000. Commercial was done a little differently because most of them would only 1 to six apps. Hope this helps
