o i see, that's pretty good for a single axle! Looks like a nice trailer, hope it serves you well.

yeah that was like 2 tons and it hauled it no problem.

Well I finished cleaning up my dump trailer. Thing thing looks brand new-now I dont want to haul anything! I wire wheeled it and painted it, put on all new lights relfective tape, put an on board battery charger, new jack(previous owner broke old one off), and new side boards.

Pics- On the tailgate I cut off part of the mesh and welded the ends because water and dirt just sat behind it.

Haha puttin that thing to good use. I'm always eerie of unhooking my trailer if its loaded like that. Had it take off down the drive one day on me, even with the wheels chocked. Then another time it flipped the front up in the air, but that one was my stupid fault for loading so far back. Keep workin it hard and have fun with it. Bet its came close to paying for itself by now

Doesn't bother me, most of the wieght is on the axle and towrds the front. Even with the heavy gate open I can tand on the back and it wont go up empty. unlike my landscape trailer:hammerhead: I took the mower off once with it unhooked not thinking:dizzy:
I think you've outgrown it lol
haha no I don't want to get to big of a trailer for the truck, When I get a bigger truck I might want a bigger one but this one works great.
Get some tiedowns and put them on the sideboards so you dont scratch up the outside!

sideboards wouldn't hold the straps, its got stake pockets all the way around, the straps are not going to scratch it to much besides its made to work!

yeah the dump trailer is sweet its a 5x8. What exactly do you mean by the tree. My dad cut it, the first cut was a wedge then the second was an inch or 2 higher than the first to keep the tree from kicking back

VEry nice mower i keep hearing more and more about how great these mowers are. Everythign does fit perfectly. I have a 6x14 and i need a 7x16 my 6x14 just fits my 2 walkbehinds and mine is home made from a pop-up camper so the wheel wells are on the inside and my 48" mower just fits between the wheel wells. I personally think if you plan to keep growing get a 16 footer

I'd recommend a 7x14 dual axle. If you already have a 5x10 single axle, why only step up a few feet unless you have storage restrictions for your trailer.

agreed, since you already have the 5x10 open and 5x8? dump I'd go with a 7x14 or 8x16 tandem axle which give you plenty to grow....seems :hammerhead: to only go 2' longer.

Yeah like I said in the quote A 6x12(thats the biggest I could probably go now because of storage) is what I could use now, but next year it might be different. If I decide to add a walker or ztr in 2yrs I might wan a 7x 14 or 7x16. But I will see what the future holds

Its an option, it most likely didnt happen. But if you turned around and looked up above the rear window you woulda seen the mounting holes for the speakers and the hole for the radio behind the seat in the right rear corner(if your sitting in the seat normally)

and I dont like the placement of the blade control because
1. Its in an awkward place, I think it should be on your right hand side so you can run the sticks with your feet and run the blade with your right hand and not have to lean forward. Where as with the current set up you have to lean forward to push the control forward, might as use your hands for the sticks..

I've hit two this week, they were both in fairly tall grass and there wasn't any way to see them. They were just regular birds, nothing special.

Yeah I know! This is nice because I had no easy way to get my stander up, I had to use a normal jack and jack it up 3 or 4 times setting block under it until I could actually get it up enough to work on it.
