I never thought I would see gas under 3.50 per gallon. I paid 3.49 and was felling like it was cheap. Cheap compared to what I had been paying. I think I would trade my left nut if I could get gas for $2 a gallon again.

 I don't know about you fellows but I want to keep my left nut just in case:laugh: The oil companies want us to get that frame of mind that 3.49 is a bargain!

Ted

As much as I would love to see $ 12.00 fert I don't see it happening. Watching the Olympics and the modern Chinese city makes even more sceptical,

BTW Diesel is now $ 4.299

They brainwashed us good...I was so happy to see it at $3.99 the other day...Felt like I was getting a deal.

And to think we all went nuts when it hit $2 a couple years ago.

You nailed it. I was cleaning out my old truck that I just sold and found some receipts from gas stations over the past few years and realized just what you said here. It wasn't long ago that we were paying $2 and $2.50 per. Boy, if we had the marketing down like big oil we'd all be rich.

It wasn't too long ago that I recall paying $.80 and $.90 per gallon either, what 1998/99? How quickly we forget though.

Yes, I remember freaking when fuel oil hit $1.60 for my house. Thank God we are out of there!
