any one own or have any thoughts or info on
C+S turfs Power-Pod with aerator attachement?

after talking with cs, found out
the unit has a 25" effective aerating width
has a 6.5hp briggs motor
operates much like lesco HPS spreader
cost little over 4k shipped
will not fit on a carry rack

know im wondering if this rig would pump out more production
than a 26" walk behind aerator?

Wow, what is the spacing on that thing? It would take a number of passes to get 9 to 12 holes per sq ft. Most walk behind units will give you 6 to 9 holes per sq ft with one pass and the desired number plus some with the second pass. Tow type and push type like the C & S tend to give considerably less holes per pass. Check it out so you will know how many passes you have to make to get quality worth selling.

thanks for the input Bob,
im not sure what Tad had told me the hole pattern worked out to,
but a non issue for me at this time

i really like the idea of their machine -
relatively small, light weight, and i suspect good traction( based on my experience
on my hps spreader), and multi tasking.

but it seems to be not quite what i need in the aeration dept. and also
current lack of a quality motor is of concern.maybe its still a work in process.
