Here are some pics of my new truck and some work pictures. The truck is a 2001 Dodge 2500 4x4 cummins with only 48,000 miles. :cool2:

great, but I can't even emagine using straps on my trailer anymore !!! What a pain in the butt to unstrap every stop ! Have you looked into prolockers?? once I got mine a few years back I don't know if I would ever use anything else!!

Thanks guys. And I HATE using straps on the equipment. I had fas-straps on my old trailer, the kind that are mounted onto the trailer and you just pull the strap over the tire. I have looked into prolockers, but I found the fas-straps were more versitale for me. I didn't transfer them over from the old trailer so I'm stuck using the good ole rachet straps untill I order some new ones.

Nice rig and the lawns look great.
1st question is what walk behind is that?
2nd do you like your trimmer rack in the front like that? have you had any problems with it there? I always thought that i would smack my trimmers if i had to turn sharp..

have you ever thought of a tool box on your trailer instead of having misc. stuff in that milk crate and loose on the trailer?

HEY.. I really need to get some fas-straps and order a nice diamond plate a-frame box, but until then, the milkcrate will due. Thanks for the comments! The walkbehind is a sutech steath 33". I actually traded another mower for this just because it matched the gray / black paint scheme I have going on. It is a pain in the arse to run but has a kawi motor, so I'm not complaining.:weightlifter:

Great looking truck and rig. 48,000 miles!?!?! That's amazing for a Cummins. I'm still strapping things down, too. It doesn't take me that long, and I still have time to "waste". I'd like to get some FasTraps or something, though.

well...would you rather we rag on you or get a ticket from the THP? Fastraps are cheap compared to a fine that you WILL eventually get. Not trying to be an @$$, just speaking to you from experience. I found out a lot of this stuff simply because I wasn't paying attention one day and didn't see the speed limit change from 45 to 30 and I was going 50. Once they pull you over for ANYTHING they WILL have a field day with you. Only looking out for your best interest.

Hey I was wondering what size your trailer is... I'm thinking of getting a new one over the winter and dont know whether to get a 14' or 16'. I think 14' would fit pretty well right now, but I dont want to have to purchase another trailer in a couple years. Also do you have the deck on you zero turn pitched at all?

Thanks
Ryan

That's why I use an enclosed trailer - what they can't see won't hurt:p

our grass crew runs one and they love it (i hate it) they will leave one of the exmarks at the shop and take that out but when her time comes i will get another exmark so they can have 3 like machines

I know brandywine power looked into picking up the line about 2 years ago---I went over one of the rep's machines with Brad and it looked pretty solid. The hydros had fans over them as well as a hydro cooler---I've never seen it doubled up like that before. I like the idea of a 72/74inch machine with the rear track pushed out to the full width of the deck but I can't find any dealer in the area.

I've been sending the turf tigers out with the mowing crew but may look into exmark for the ease of sealed spindles and front casters. The 72inch AS prices out very nicely and we already use conway for scag and husqvarna.

Hey guys, The dixie is an XW2000. I actually bought it from another LCO in south jersey. For all you guys asking about a place to buy Dixie Chopper, check out lightkep.com. They are a mower dealer in Maple Glen, PA that carry Dixie and dixie parts.
