looking for advice on prepping an area for seeding where there is moss present. this is an established lawn, with alot of bare spots, and areas with moss. do u treat the moss first? after?

Absolutely, you need to correct the moss problem first, and any other problems present too (weeds). Moss chokes out the grass and makes it hard to establish. Use a product or fertilizer with iron in it, iron does a good job. Lilly Miller makes a good moss killer for lawns.
