It is to be 75 degrees here tomorrow. I think I had better start getting pre-emergent down pretty quick.:)

I think it's time for post-emergent here..........we've had several days in the 70's and a couple of record high days that hit 80.......weeds are on their way already.
Saw some azeala's blooming the other day.
What happened to winter?
Who cares?

50 here and I am up north a bit. Most everything is free of snow which isn't hard as we only had about 3 inches so far.
Reality check coming later this week. Back below zero.

I'm with you, Homer, except that we're behind you just a hair. Grass is greening up, forsythia's blooming, birds are beginning to come back and sing ... Spring is here!

thats pretty funny because i started my lazer up today too. hard to beleive by the end of the week it will be cold and a wintry mix. this winter sure has been crazy. it either needs to snow or get warm and sunny, because i need some work to do.

Dear Mother Nature,
I am a small man with small requests, but was wondering if you, Jack Frost and Old Man Winter could get together for a meeting? I own a lawcare and snow removal buisiness and dont know if you have noticed, but the grass isnt growin' and the snow isnt blowin'. I think I speak for all of my collegues both here and on plowsite when I say, make up your minds and give us one or the other please.
Thank You

Started the Zero Turn, and played around striping the backyard. Wife thought it was pretty funny that I was going over patches of snow with the mower. i called it "wishful thinking" hehe

This has been GREAT weather to do tree work. Ive been doing alot of hedge trimming, and even a few shrub removals since the ground is not frozen.
One of my factories called me this morning, and since the snow melted off the lawn, they wanted me to put some stripes down. I was happy about getting that $175 call. God I love summer.. wait.. its january 28th....... hehe

In the abc article I noticed the last comment made in the article is....... "just as we predicted" ..... I dont remember anyone predicting in seoptember that it would be in the 60's the last week of january.......
It sure is easy to say "just as we predicted" after the weather is allready here!

I felt the itch today also. It is around 65 here in the burgh. I spent the day washing my vehicles, cutting back flowers, and tearing out a rose bush. It really got me in the mood for Spring.

Yup,
Nice n warm here too. Did a large residential clean-up and put down 12 of the 16 yards of mulch too today. We'll finish up tomorrow morning and do some more clean-ups. The way this year is going (started mid-Feb 2001), we'll actually only get about 2 weeks off. I don't know if I'm lucky for this - or not:alien:
